The Body Shop Haul

The Body Shop Haul

At a recent fair that I helped my Sister with the stall next to us was Body Shop. I’ve never really been a fan, sure I’ve been to a fair few Body Shop parties over the years, but whenever I thought of them I mainly thought of their body moisturisers which never smelt nice to me, and makeup that I assumed wouldn’t be very good and seem costly. I’m looking forward to being proven wrong.

The first product I bought was from the above mentioned stall, I had been wanting a serum and had heard good things about the Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil. I’ve been using it semi regularly and I do like it, I haven’t found it breaks me out, my skin feels very supple the next morning and I do think it brightens my complexion. You simply apply it into your palms and smooth over face and neck, following with your chosen moisturisers.

After using, and enjoying the oil I decided to see what else interested me online, I bought the Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover mainly because it cost £3 and it meant I got free shipping, but I am hoping it’ll be good and then I can exchange it out for my L’Oreal Micellar Cleansing Water.LRM_EXPORT_20170928_140516

I already use Tea Tree Oil quite frequently, you can see how in this post, and I do believe the claims regarding it’s purifying properties, so I bought two masks from the tea tree range. Firstly, the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Clay Mask, which is suppose to, “cool and deeply cleanse your skin – perfect for blemished complexions, the instantly cooling sensation refreshes skin, without over drying. This mask will help to clear impurities whilst absorbing excess sebum, leaving skin feeling smoother and clearer looking.”

I’m excited about both of these masks, especially the next one which is the Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask, I’ve never tried an overnight mask so I’m interested in seeing the results. This one is formulated to care for oily skin and imperfections, “infused with salicylic acid and Community Trade tea tree oil, this 100% vegan leave-on mask for oily skin will reduce the size and number of imperfections and achieve clearer, smoother, and healthier-looking skin.”

Once I’ve put them all to use I’ll let you know my opinions on them. Have any of you tried them?

Same, whenever I thought of them I’d think of those body shop parties that were always cringy, but I’m liking what I’ve tried so far, especially the vitamin E oil/serum. You’re welcome to try some of the stuff next time you’re round 😊 did you ever try that other mask I deported for you? Xx

I’ve always preferred Lush to Body Shop nowadays, but I’m interested to know what you’ll think about these ones 🙂

I never really got into Lush skincare, I always think of them for the bath products. But I do love their ‘coalface’ product! Hopefully TBS stuff is good and I’ll be able to do a review on them 😊
