After reviewing my most recent blogging goals in January’s post, I decided to skip setting new ones for a month. But I’m back and excited to set myself some new ones now. I have found that setting these goals, writing them down, and being held almost accountable by publishing them online, I have achieved more than I otherwise would. Because of this, I do think it is a great idea to set yourself monthly, bi-monthly etc.. goals if you’re wanting to push yourself and achieve more.
February Blogging Goals:
Increase Followers – I would like to reach 650 blog followers, and 250 Instagram followers. They say numbers aren’t everything, but achieving them does give you a rewarding feeling. I would also like to increase the amount of followers I have via email lists. I have recently figured out MailChimp (using the term “figured out” loosely there), and I’ve read a lot about the benefits of having a mailing list. To help with this I am hoping to provide email subscribers with some freebie stock photos. This is still something I’m trying to sort out though, which leads onto my next goal.
Take Stock Photos – To provide to email subscribers. It would be nice to have some in the bank for future posts of my own too. Here’s a sneak peak at the photos I have taken so far, let me know what you think of them.
Collaboration Ideas – I’d like to put aside some time into thinking up collaboration ideas and reaching out to bloggers about them. I’ve been saying for a while now I’d love to do a collaboration post with one of the amazing bloggers I follow, but haven’t thought up any ideas of what that post could be about. If anyone reading this already has ideas and is at all interested in collaborating with me, let me know, I’d love to.
Are you setting any blogging goals for February? What are they?
