At the very end of last month I found out I won Catherine’s Giveaway over at Imperfect Beauty. I geninely never win so I was happy about this. Thanks again to Catherine.
During the first weekend of the month I went up to my Sister and did a little Easter Egg Hunt for the kids before going for a little stroll.
The next day we went to my local lake for an Easter Fair. The fair comes every year but this is the first time the kids have ever been.

On the 10th I spent a full day..- and night searching online for new bedroom furniture. Within a 24 hour period I had found and bought a new wardrobe, main drawers, bedside drawers and a bookcase. Oh and a new mattress! I still need to find a bed frame but I need to build all this stuff first.. – and sell my old furniture.
The furniture was supposed to arrive over a week period, instead everything arrived on the same day. Normally my orders all coming at once would be my dream, not so much when that equals to 11 massive boxes in the hallway. I’ve managed to build a good amount so far, totaling to around 20 hours of instruction following.
My room currently looking a bit better than the picture below, but at one point there was so little floor space that when Mia’s bed fell off my bed she just tried to make it work by sleeping atop of it.. on it’s side.
Went to Bury during this month to buy some stuff for upcoming holiday, got a few cute things from Primark.
On the 18th the temperature was suddenly 21°C and the following day 26°C! These kind of temperatures would be a pretty amazing day during the middle a UK Summer, never mind a Spring one. Hopefully it’ll last.
Emily is so my style inspiration for the coming months.. – pink princess dress, hair in multiple bobbles and wellies. You’ll most likely be seeing this on Fashion Runways soon.
Here is some random but cute photos of the dogs throughout the month. Not for any particular rhyme or rhythm, they’re just cute and I like to show them off.
Went back to Bury near the end of the month, this time without the kids so myself and my Sister could actually shop properly, which resulted in more Primark purchases. Afterwards I raced to go and get my hair cut, much shorter than I’d asked, before going for a cinema date with Becky for her birthday. I finally got to see ‘A Quite Place’. It was great and whilst I did like the ending I’d have preferred it slightly different, if you’ve seen it I’m sure you know what I mean.
I think I am going to start adding my Instagram’s from the month to my Monthly Memories, my favourite at least.
And that’s it for a while, I’m off on holiday on Monday and won’t be posting again for at least a week. I will still be reading your posts though, internet permitting. And I’ll be active over on Instagram.
How was your April? What has been your favourite memory looking back on the month? And what are you looking forward to in May?
